A beautiful vintage white bisque porcelain round box made in Limoges France with a lovely raised relief of a mother and child on the domed lid. Around the sides are raised reliefs of swans and scrolls.
The hinged lid is adorned with gold around the edge as is the ribbon and wreath clasp. The top edge of the box is also adorned with gold. The box opens well and the lid closes tightly. The inside has a lustrous finish and is very clean. It’s in very good condition with a small amount of wear on the gold portions. Overall, it is very lovely and shows beautifully. A wonderful gift for someone special or as a keepsake for a collector.
The bottom is stamped Limoges, France – Made in France - #17
It measures 3-1/8” in diameter and stands at 1-1/2” in height
